Hi, my name is Jean-Luc Boissonneault and I’m the founder of MIYAGI. If you can take a minute I’ll tell you why I started MIYAGI in the first place. At the age of 17 I started my career as a personal trainer. I had a dream that one day I could open up a fitness club. But I had no money, no knowledge and no connections and certainly no confidence.
Then one day I met a mentor that changed my life forever. He had the knowledge and generosity to get me on the right path. He gave me invaluable tools, accountability and confidence in myself to succeed. Because of my mentor I spent the next decade creating 9 different businesses in a variety of industries. I was awarded top entrepreneur of my city. I was one of the youngest people to ever win the business 40 under 40 award. But best of all I achieved my dream and created my fitness club and a chain of them too – which I sold for a price that changed my life again.
Being an entrepreneur has brought me freedom in all aspects of my life. Can you really put a price on freedom?
On November 26th 2011 my mentor Claude Dagenais died of a sudden heart attack. It cried a lot that day. His body may have left but his actions move on. Because he is the inspiration behind MIYAGI and it’s my turn to bring the elevator back down and help others achieve their dreams.
This is why I built it. Now help us, help you and enrol.
